In this guide, we’re going to show you how to install texture packs for Minecraft Java Edition. Texture Packs are the same as Resource Packs, the name has changed somewhere along the way.

Installing a texture pack is the easiest way to completely change the look and feel of Minecraft, without using shadersof course.

There are many different resolutions available for texture packs too, such as 16x, 32x, 64x, 128x, 256x and 512x. If you’re running a lower ended system, it’s best to stick to a pack that’s 128x or below.

Step 1: Find a Texture Pack

Firstly, you’re going to need to find a texture pack you like online.
